Somosot Dental provides a broad range of dental services in-house, from cleanings to implants and dentures, supported by our own imaging and dental lab. Availability can differ by branch and by what your case clinically calls for — and when a case needs care beyond what we provide, your dentist will explain the referral options.

Dr. Jared Somosot

Owner & Chief Dentist · Bohol & Cebu

Why Somosot

A clinic built by a dentist, run like one.

That dentist is Dr. Jared Somosot, owner and chief dentist, who still treats patients at both branches — and sets the clinical standards, protocols, and materials they run on.

Licensed, above board

Every credential on display, not tucked in a drawer — our PRC licenses and clinic permits are posted where patients can see them.

One family, two clinics

Bohol and Cebu run on the same standards, the same materials, and the same close attention — wherever you walk in.

General to cosmetic, under one roof

Cleanings, fillings, and extractions sit alongside orthodontics and cosmetic work — no separate referral for most cases.

We enjoy doing dentistry, and our philosophy has always been:

Service first, the money will follow.

We mark each clinic anniversary with free extractions for selected communities.

Advanced technology

Precision starts with the right equipment.

We're moving to a fully digital workflow — scanned, designed, and produced in-house instead of sent out and waited on. Less guesswork, fewer trips, and a fit that's planned before anything is made.

Panoramic and 3D (CBCT) imaging system

Vatech Pax-i 3D

Operated on site by Somosot Dental Diagnostics, a separate facility at the same address. One machine, two scans: a full panoramic X-ray (OPG) and a detailed 3D cone-beam (CBCT) scan of your teeth, jaw, and nerve pathways. Because it's on site, your dentist reviews the images with you the same visit — no separate imaging center, no days of waiting.

Digital intraoral scanner, Somosot Dental Bohol

Digital Intraoral Scanner

No more messy impression trays. A quick digital scan captures an exact 3D model of your teeth in minutes — more comfortable for you, and it goes straight to our in-house lab.

DJ89 Plus 8K resin 3D printer

DJ89 Plus 8K 3D Printer

Our own 8K resin printer sits inside the clinic, so models, surgical guides, and provisionals are produced here rather than sent to an outside lab. That means fewer trips for you and adjustments handled the same day.

Designing a denture in exocad DentalCAD

Digital planning

Designed and planned in-house

Your scan becomes a design before anything is made. Crowns, veneers, dentures, and bridges are modelled in exocad and printed in our own lab. Implants are planned in Blue Sky Plan from your CBCT scan, and the surgical guide is made from that plan. Different cases call for different software, each chosen for the job it does best — and both do the same one: the fit and the position are decided in advance, so the work is predictable instead of adjusted at the chair.

Watch the full design walkthrough

One case at the Bohol branch, recorded end to end: the CBCT scan, the surgical guide designed from it, placement through that guide, and the post-operative radiograph. The closing panel sets the planned position beside the achieved one. It is a single case shown for what it is, not a claim about how any other case will go — suitability, healing and the final position all depend on examination and imaging.

Getting here

From Cebu City — by ferry

Tubigon is the closest Bohol port to Cebu City, so sail direct to Tubigon rather than Tagbilaran. Ferries leave from the Cebu City piers — fastcraft crossings take around 1.5–2 hours, and the slower RoRo ferries carry cars and motorcycles if you're bringing your own vehicle. From Tubigon port, the clinic on Santos Baura St., Pooc Oriental is a short tricycle ride away — the port sits right at the town center.

From Tagbilaran City

The clinic is about 50 km north of Tagbilaran along the coastal road through Cortes, Maribojoc, Loon, and Calape — around 1 to 1.5 hours by car or motorcycle. Without your own vehicle, take a Tubigon-bound bus or van from Dao Integrated Bus Terminal.

From anywhere else in Bohol

Take any bus or van bound for Tubigon — the clinic is near the town center and port, on Santos Baura St. in Pooc Oriental, a short tricycle ride from wherever you're dropped off.

FAQ

Common questions, straight answers.

General dental-care questions people ask most — for anything specific to your own case, message us and we'll walk you through it.

A consultation starts at ₱300. A cleaning (prophylaxis) is ₱900 for the mild category and ₱1,500 for the moderate or severe one — those are pricing categories, and which one applies is established when your dentist examines your teeth and gums, not before. See our full price list in the Services section above for everything else.

A dentist is the licensed professional who examines and treats your teeth and gums. A dental clinic is the facility — like Somosot's Bohol and Cebu branches — where one or more dentists see patients, equipped for exams, cleanings, and procedures.

PhilHealth covers select dental procedures, such as certain extractions, at accredited providers under specific packages. Coverage and accreditation vary by clinic, so it's best to confirm directly with the branch you plan to visit before your appointment.

Wisdom teeth are often removed when they're impacted, crowding neighboring teeth, growing in at an awkward angle, or causing repeated infection or pain — a dentist will only recommend extraction after examining your specific case.

Rinse your mouth gently with water, keep any broken piece (store a knocked-out tooth in milk or saliva, handling it by the crown, not the root), and get to a dentist as soon as possible — ideally within the hour for a knocked-out tooth.

In-clinic whitening gives faster, more even results than at-home kits since it's done under professional supervision. Our in-office whitening session is ₱6,000 — see Services for the rest of our cosmetic options.

We offer traditional braces for both arches at ₱40,000, priced the same at both branches. Bohol starts treatment on a ₱10,000 downpayment, with the balance following the payment schedule agreed at your consultation — that downpayment is how treatment begins, not what it costs. Hawley and Essix retainers afterward are ₱5,000/arch. Full details are in Services.

Most dentists recommend a check-up and cleaning every six months, though your dentist may suggest a different schedule depending on your oral health history.

Extractions are done under local anesthesia, so you shouldn't feel pain during the procedure itself — some soreness afterward is normal and manageable with the aftercare guidance your dentist provides.

Message us on Facebook Messenger — that's how we handle all scheduling and questions for both branches, and a member of our team will reply directly. If you would rather speak to someone, call the branch: Bohol on 0960 327 1890, Cebu on 0960 327 1891. You can also leave your number in the callback form on this page and we will ring you back.

No — we aren't accredited with Maxicare, Intellicare, Medicard, PhilCare or any other HMO, at either branch. Treatment is paid directly. Every price is published on this site so you know the full cost before you book: braces are ₱40,000 for both arches at either branch, on a payment schedule agreed at your consultation, with Bohol starting on a ₱10,000 downpayment.

Both the Bohol and Cebu branches are open daily, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, weekends included. We do open on holidays, but holiday hours can vary — message the branch to confirm before travelling for a holiday appointment.

The implant fixture is ₱25,000 and the placement professional fee is ₱25,000, so a single implant starts at ₱50,000 before the crown on top. The crown is priced from the crowns list — a zirconia crown is ₱20,000, which brings one restored tooth to about ₱70,000. Bone grafting, when clinically required, is priced after examination and treatment planning.

Yes. The price list covers children's preventive and restorative work — fluoride treatment at ₱300, sealants at ₱600 per tooth, and stainless steel crowns for children at ₱7,500.

Whichever is closer — both run the same clinical standards, the same services, and the same daily hours. The difference is equipment: the Tubigon branch has on-site CBCT, cephalometric and panoramic imaging plus our own in-house dental lab, so implant and orthodontic cases are planned and fabricated without sending your records anywhere. The Cebu branch is inside City Soho Mall on B. Rodriguez St. Both have parking.
