Editorial and Clinical-Review Policy
This website is patient education, not treatment. It does not replace an examination, imaging, a diagnosis or an individual treatment plan. A page states that a licensed dentist reviewed it only where that dentist is named and the review date is shown; where no reviewer is named, no clinical review is being claimed.

What this website is for
The pages here describe what Somosot Dental does, what it charges, where its two clinics are, and what a procedure generally involves. That is patient education: it exists so you arrive at a consultation knowing roughly what to expect and what it is likely to cost.
It is not a diagnosis and it is not a treatment plan. No page on this site can tell you whether a procedure is right for your case, because that depends on an examination, on imaging, on your medical history and on findings that only appear once a dentist is looking at your mouth. Where a page describes a treatment, it describes the usual course of it — yours may differ.
- Nothing here replaces an examination, imaging, diagnosis or an individualized treatment plan.
- Treatment suitability, duration, fees, risks, healing and results vary from patient to patient.
- If you have pain, swelling, bleeding that will not stop, or a facial injury, contact a clinic directly rather than reading further.
What a clinical-review badge means — and what its absence means
Where a page has been read and confirmed by a licensed dentist, that page names the dentist, states their role, links to their profile on this site, and shows the date they confirmed it. All four appear together or none of them do. A badge that named nobody, or gave no date, would tell you nothing you could check.
Where a page carries no such line, no clinical review is being claimed for it. That does not mean the page is careless — the clinical copy on this site is written against a documented set of rules and is checked before publication — but it does mean a dentist has not signed that specific page on a specific date, and you should read it as general information rather than as reviewed clinical guidance.
A review is confirmation that the content was accurate for this clinic on the date shown. It is not a statement about your case, and it does not carry forward automatically: when a page changes materially, the review it carried no longer covers it and the badge comes down until the dentist confirms the new text.
- A review badge always carries a named dentist, their role, a link to their profile, and a date.
- No named reviewer means no review is being claimed for that page.
- The clinic keeps an internal queue of pages awaiting a dentist's confirmation.
Who is responsible for clinical accuracy
A licensed dentist is responsible for the clinical accuracy of any page marked as reviewed. Somosot Dental is responsible for the site as a whole — the prices, the addresses, the hours, and the description of what each branch offers.
The dentists who practise at each branch are listed on the Meet the Dentists pages with their training, their dental school and, where the clinic has recorded it, the date their Professional Regulation Commission licence was last confirmed as active. Continuing education is listed as continuing education. No dentist at either branch currently holds a recognised specialty qualification, and the site does not describe anyone as a specialist.
How writing and drafting works here
Clinical pages are written against a fixed set of rules: no guarantees about pain, healing, longevity, success or treatment time; no procedure described as painless, permanent or risk-free; no service, protocol, price, credential or professional relationship that the clinic does not actually have; and an explicit statement that suitability depends on examination and imaging.
Software tools, including AI assistants, may be used to draft, restructure or check text. They are a drafting aid and nothing more: no page is published as clinically reviewed on the strength of a software check, and a licensed dentist remains responsible for the clinical accuracy of anything this site marks as reviewed. Where a claim cannot be traced to something the clinic can stand behind, it is removed or withheld rather than softened.
Prices
Published prices are starting figures or ranges, not quotations. They tell you the order of magnitude so that a consultation is not the first time you hear a number. The price for your case is confirmed after an examination, and it can differ from the published figure — usually because of what the examination or the imaging finds.
Where a price covers only part of a treatment, the page says so. A dental implant price covers the fixture and its placement; the crown fitted on top is priced separately. Braces cost the same at both branches, and the ₱10,000 shown for Bohol is the downpayment that starts treatment, not the total. Some rows in the price list carry no figure at all because the honest answer is that the tooth has to be looked at first.
Prices change. The price list on this site is the current one and is the version to trust if another source — a printed sheet, a directory listing, a social post, an assistant quoting an older copy — disagrees with it.
Branches differ
Somosot Dental has two clinics: Tubigon, Bohol and City Soho Mall, Cebu City. They run the same clinical standards, but they are not identical, and equipment in particular is not interchangeable between them.
On-site CBCT, cephalometric and panoramic imaging, the in-house dental laboratory and the resin 3D printer are at the Bohol branch. Where a page describes technology, it says which branch has it. If a page ever describes equipment without naming a branch, treat that as an error worth reporting rather than as an assurance that both have it.
Corrections
If something on this site is wrong — a price, an address, a phone number, a name, a credential, or a clinical statement — the clinic wants to know, and correcting it costs nothing.
Send it through either branch's verified contact channel: Facebook Messenger, Viber or the branch phone number, all of which are listed on that branch's page. Say which page and which sentence. A correction to a clinical statement is passed to a dentist rather than to whoever edits the website.
When pages are updated
Pages are updated when the thing they describe changes: a price, a service, a piece of equipment, a branch's hours or address, a change in the clinical team, or clinical guidance that no longer matches how the clinic treats a case. They are not rewritten on a schedule to look fresh.
Where a page shows a published or updated date, that date is real. Where a page shows a next-review date, it is the date the clinic has scheduled to look at it again, not a promise about the content between now and then.
Reporting something that looks wrong
Message the branch the page is about — every branch page carries its Messenger link, Viber number and phone number. Tell us the page and the sentence.
